Do I need to be really fit?
No
each lesson is based around you learning to ride your mountain
bike and improve your personal skills. All lessons are at
your pace. You can not absorb the new skills if you are
worried about your Heart and Lungs on every climb.

What if I forget a piece of personal equipment?
No
problems we take a spare of everything. We wouldn’t want
you to loose a days training for the sake of a set of socks or
Gloves.
3:
If I have a mechanical problem on the trail will my day be over?
No
all our guides and coaches carry spares to keep you going.
On the basic courses we will even fix your punctures!!
Should
you break a frame or be unable to continue simply re book for
free.
4:
What about the weather
Not
to worry reschedule your day. All our locations have a wet
weather plan.
5:
Why don’t you take Internet bookings.
All
customers are different to ensure we get your package just right
ten minutes on the phone will give both parties a realistic
start state. From their we put together the best
days training for you. Its always better to be honest and you
will get so much more from your day.

What if I book the wrong course
On
the rare occasions this happens don’t worry 2 guides coaches
are always at each session so we can split groups or deliver 1:1
training.

Will I be out of my depth I feel apprehensive
looking at the skills and clients
No
worries Companies like Switchbacks are Level 2 and 3 guides who
are from racing and Downhill back grounds. They choose
Youngs Instruction to train their guides so all their clients
receive first class training, and in the unlikely event they
have an accident the client is in good hands.
